Sticky Words Winner & Weekly Update

First, I have to give a HUGE congrats to the winner of our Sticky Words giveaway. We had over 200 entries, and Ziva (זיוה), comment #5, is the very lucky winner!
And now, for the update!

Update from The Fetus:
Hi all!! Mommy is now 10 weeks pregnant, and here's what's going on with me.
  • I'm growing incredibly rapidly right now and will be approximately 1.75 to 2.4 inches (4.4 to 6cm) when measured from crown to rump by the end of this week.
  • I'm also going to double my length in the next three weeks.
  • I will weigh about 0.3 ounces (8g) by the end of this week.
  • My neck is developing, and my chin lifts up from the chest.
  • I have fingernails, too.
  • My genitalia are now visible, but don't count on me showing Mommy and Daddy for a few more weeks.
  • My essential organs are formed and most have begun to function.
  • The blood vessels in my placenta are increasing in number to meet my increasing nutritional needs.
  • My ears are moving towards the sides of my head, away from my neck.
  • My head is still not in proportion with my body, and my head accounts for about half of my body length.
  • I've begun to swallow and kick, but Mommy can't feel it yet.
Update from Mommy:
We got the results of our blood tests from earlier this week, and my hubby is Kell negative. That means that our baby should not have anemia problems due to my anti-K antibodies. Yay! I also had my first appointment with the midwife, and she is just fantastic. It's too bad that she works in a group practice, because I'd really love to have her see me every time and deliver the baby. Ahh well! Also, I finally got the blood test results back with my hemoglobin and hematocrit. My hemoglobin was 13.4 g/dL (the lowest normal for pregnant women is 11 to 12 g/dL!!!) and my hematocrit was 36.5% (and normal is 35-47% for women). YIPPEE!!! I'm not anemic!
