First I want to send a big congrats to Heather R, comment #117, who won our Family Facts On-the-Go Organizer & Planner giveaway!
I also want to quickly let you know that the Measure Up bowls I reviewed back in May are on sale at Target.com. The 2 bowl set is only $23.99 until July 31st, so now is the time to get yours!
Update from The Fetus:
Aren't I cute? According to the ultrasound Mommy had earlier this week I already weigh 4oz! But according to all of the different fetal development websites out there, I'm only supposed to weigh a bit more than half of that. Well who's right? I sure hope I'm not one of those crazy large babies who come out weighing 10 lbs. My poor Mommy! Nope. I'm going to be a happy normal sized baby...maybe 7 lbs. But, we have a while to go until I'm that large. In the mean time, here's what's happening this week!

- By the end of this week, I will measure about 4.4 to 4.8 inches (about 11 to 12cm) from crown to rump and weigh about 3.5 ounces (100g)...right. I don't know about the length, but I already weigh more than that!
- I actually weigh more than my placenta now!
- Right now I am positioned about halfway between my mommy's pubic bone and navel.
- Fat, which is important for my metabolism and heat production, is beginning to form around this time. (Eww gross! I'd better stop eating all of those cookies.)
- My placenta, which will weigh more than a pound at full term, is also developing rapidly. It is now a large and well-established network of blood vessels responsible for exchanging nutrients and waste to support my growth and development.
- My head is more erect than it has been, and my eyes are still moving closer to the front of my head.
- My ears are getting really close to their final position as well.
- The patterning of my scalp has begun, though my locks aren't recognizable yet.
- I've even started growing toenails!
- My heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as I continue to develop.
- The air passages in my lungs have finished branching, and my lungs are preparing to take in oxygen (even if they won't for several more months).
- I'm going to be able to start hearing now, so I hope Mommy talks to me a lot.
- My fingerprints are also finishing up.

How were you able to do screen shot of random.org? I have tried and it just never works! What am I doing wrong? hah :)
Thanks!
I'll cross my fingers for you that you don't end up giving birth to a ten pound baby! Ouch! Yeah, seven sounds much better. :)
