Wowee, Mommy is already 14 weeks, and I'm growing like crazy.
- I will measure about 3.7 to 4.1 inches (about 9.3 to 10.3cm) from crown to rump and weigh about 1.75 ounces (50g) by the end of this week.
- My bones still consist of soft cartilage, but they are now beginning to harden, and the development of my bones and marrow continues.
- My cheeks and the bridge of my nose will appear, and my ears are moving from the sides of my neck to much higher on my head.
- My ears are developing into a more recognizable shape, and any hair already on my head and brows will become thicker.
- My eyes continue to come closer together.
- My skin is thin and translucent, and all of my blood vessels can be seen through it.
- My hair continues to grow on my head and eyebrows.
- If my hair is going to be dark, the follicles will start to generate pigment to color my hair.
- My liver starts making bile this week, and my spleen starts helping in the production of red blood cells.
- I'm moving more now and becoming increasingly flexible.
- I can bend my arms at the elbows and wrists, and I can make tiny fists with my hands.
- I can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck my thumb!
- My body is growing faster than my head, which now sits upon a more distinct neck.
- By the end of this week, my arms will have grown to a length that's in proportion to the rest of my body.

It's nuts to think that a person who's 4 inches tall already has eyebrows and makes fists.
