HandClens Review

I don't generally like using hand sanitizer because it contains alcohol and can really dry my hands. HandClens is an alcohol-free 2 in 1 foaming hand sanitizer and lotion. Because it's foam, you get three times as many applications from one bottle than a regular alcohol sanitizer. It is currently the only instant hand sanitizer available that meets and exceeds FDA CFR 333.470 performance standards. The foam is rinse-free, so you can use it on-the-go, and it kills 99.99% of disease causing germs in 15 seconds (including antibiotic resistant VRE & MRSA). This is powerful germ-killing in a patented SAB formula that promotes new healthy skin formation.
My Take
I love love love things that foam! Whether it's soap or hand sanitizer, there's something that makes me feel as though the foam cleans better than regular liquid. It's also easier to spread on your hands, so you're sure not to miss any spots. It is so important to keep your hands clean in order to avoid illness, but I don't like using too many things that are anti-bacterial, in order not to be killing off good bacteria along with the bad and also possibly creating more bacterias that are resistant to regular "killing" methods. But when I don't have a sink or other way to wash my hands, I need to have something to get rid of the germs. Unfortunately until now I hadn't found anything that was alcohol-free and that wouldn't dry out my hands. I am SO happy that HandClens has no alcohol, but it still kills 99.9% of germs. It's also not flammable and can even be used on small cuts and abrasions to prevent infection. It comes in both regular and fragrance-free, so if you have a sensitivity you don't need to worry about it. But here's the best part...it even softened my hands when I used it! Forget drying them out, my hands felt moisturized by it; almost like putting on a hand lotion. Now that is something I have never seen before in a hand sanitizer.
Cost: You can buy HandClens on Amazon.com for about $3.99 for an 8 oz pump. ($$)
Overall: We give HandClens a 9/10!
