Another day, another diet. :-) This week, after completely bingeing on cookies and junk food, I decided to start the Atkins diet. I really like how it's cutting the carbs while remaining healthful - and eventually I will get to add back more carbs into my diet. But for right now, I just need to "detox" from carb overload and eat healthy. As you can see, it's working! I only started the diet on Thursday, and I lost 3 lbs since then (having lost less than a pound at the beginning of the week). And this was even over Shabbos!
Last week's weight 3/20: 171.8 lbs (BMI 35.9)
Today's weight 3/27: 168.0 lbs (BMI 35.1)
Weekly weight loss: 3.8 lbs
Total weight lost: 12.4 lbs

Mini Goal weight: 141 lbs (pre-pregnancy weight)
Pounds to go: 27.0 lbs
Ultimate Goal weight: 100 lbs
Pounds to go: 68.0 lbs
I am *this close* to being out of the "obese 2" category! Just one more pound until I'm in the "obese 1" category. I think I'm going to treat myself to something. I'll be sure to post about it!
