About the Book:
"Before Liz Lemon, before "Weekend Update," before "Sarah Palin," Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV.
She has seen both these dreams come true.
At last, Tina Fey's story can be told. From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live; from her passionately halfhearted pursuit of physical beauty to her life as a mother eating things off the floor; from her one-sided college romance to her nearly fatal honeymoon -- from the beginning of this paragraph to this final sentence.
Tina Fey reveals all, and proves what we've all suspected: you're no one until someone calls you bossy.
(Includes Special, Never-Before-Solicited Opinions on Breastfeeding, Princesses, Photoshop, the Electoral Process, and Italian Rum Cake!)"
About the Author:
Oh, please. Don't tell me you don't know who Tina Fey is!! Well, just in case... Tina Fey currently plays the role of Liz Lemon on the TV show "30 Rock" and was formerly a comedienne on "Saturday Night Live." She is actually mostly well known for her Sarah Palin imitation on "Saturday Night Live"...which occurred after she had already left the show to do "30 Rock."
My Take:
Bossypants is laugh-out-loud funny. Tina Fey brings her sense of humor and comedienne expertise into every page. Her "Mother's Prayer" brought tears to my eyes...with laughter. Even if you've never heard of Tina Fey before, you will still enjoy reading about her triumphs and her epic fails. She gives her opinion about so many different topics in such a way that will have you falling off of your chair...even if you might have disagreed with her before. (And yes, I still call my daughter a "princess")
This is an absolute must-read book, especially if you're in need of a little cheering up. And if you're a female boss, then this will really help you figure out how not to be a "bossypants." And if you're curious, Tina did decide to have a second baby, is currently pregnant and due at the end of the summer.
Cost: You can buy Bossypants for $13.97 from Amazon.com.
Overall: We give Bossypants a 9.5/10!

I have lots of favorites! I loved any Celebrity Jeopardy and any skit with Kenan! The Single Ladies (with Justin T. & Beyonce) was definitely one of my favorites! I never imagined Justin & Andy wore something like that! It was hilarious! Oh goodness! I liked the Sarah Palin skits too. I love Tina Fey!
Oh no, I just saw the part about entering something in the extra info box! I've done both votes all week, but totally missed that note. Fail!
I'm a fan and I can't wait to read this book.
