My hubby has awful allergies, but he can't really take any medicine for it. First of all, antihistamines all make him "drunk," so that he wouldn't be able to function the entire day. Even medicines like Claritin that profess to not make you feel fuzzy makes my husband feel fuzzy. Also, nasal sprays like Afrin you can only take for 3 days and then you develop a rebound effect. He's tried saline nasal sprays, but it only lubricates his nasal cavity, but doesn't really take away the stuffy nose. And he doesn't want to take prescription nasal sprays because they're steroids, which also don't agree with his body.

Because he can't breathe, he snores when he sleeps. A few days ago I was so fed up that I actually went and slept on the couch. I was exhausted, and he was just snoring up a storm with no signs of stopping.
