Because he can't breathe, he snores when he sleeps. A few days ago I was so fed up that I actually went and slept on the couch. I was exhausted, and he was just snoring up a storm with no signs of stopping. Luckily, I had just received a package with Xlear nasal spray for him to try, and the next night I insisted he give it a try. What do you know...no snoring! We did it again for two more nights...still no snoring. I think this is nothing short of a miracle. His only complaint is that it stings a bit when you spray it, but many nasal sprays do that since you are irritating the nasal passageways. I'm just glad that I can sleep in my own bed again, and hopefully he's getting better night sleeps now that he can breathe.
The cool thing about all Xlear products (including the nasal spray) is that they're made with Xylitol. Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol (which means it has fewer calories and doesn't affect your blood sugar the way sugar does). But the best part is that it may help reduce the risk of tooth decay. This is why you're finding it more and more in toothpastes and sugar-free gum. You can buy XyloSweet (which is a sugar substitute) as well as sugar-free gum, mints, toothpaste and candy from Xlear.
Cost: You can buy Xlear nasal spray for $11.25 from Amazon.com ($$$)
Overall: We give Xlear nasal spray a 10/10!
We received a selection of Xlear products free of charge for the sole purpose of this review; no other compensation was received. All opinions expressed are my own.
