Here we are at our last Gus LeGarde Monday...although today is a bit different. We have already gone through all of the currently published Gus LeGarde mysteries, so today I introduce you to Moore Mysteries and our hero, Sam Moore. So welcome to Sam Moore Monday, which will be our last until Aaron Lazar publishes another book. I hope you have enjoyed his writing as much as I have!
About the Book:
"A strange talisman. A fifty-year-old secret. A sick serial killer who targets boys. And an obsession over a vanished younger brother that will not quit.
Join Sam Moore as a peculiar green marble links him to his brother and thrusts him back in time. Can he untangle the maddening mystery in time to avoid the murder of his beloved grandson?"
About the Author:
"Aaron Paul Lazar writes to soothe his soul. The author of LeGarde Mysteries and Moore Mysteries savors the country-side in the Genesee Valley of upstate New York, where his characters embrace life, play with their dogs and grandkids, grow sumptuous gardens, and chase bad guys."
My Take:
I love anything to do with the paranormal, so this series is right up my alley. I wish I had a green marble that could take me back in time...
Healey's Cave will keep you on the edge of your seat, and the twist at the end will have you fall off of that seat! I also love how Aaron goes from writing from Sam's point of view to writing from the killer's point of view, without ever knowing who the killer is. It's fascinating to see how the killer is thinking! I also enjoy Sam's trips back in time to fifty years ago as he learns about the circumstances surrounding his brother's disappearance.
I'm really looking forward to reading more Moore Mysteries and seeing where this little green marble will take Sam.
Cost: You can buy Healey's Cave from Amazon.com for $13.22.
Overall: We give Healey's Cave a 10/10!
One very lucky reader will win a copy of Healey's Cave by Aaron Paul Lazar!

We were sent copy of the book "Healey's Cave" free of charge for the sole purpose of this review; no other compensation was received. All opinions expressed are my own.

I believe that there are some people with the ability to have ESP, etc. I think there is alot we can't explain.
Not sure what I really believe, but I do know I enjoy reading about it!
Hey there! Following you from Money Saving Mindy! I'd love a follow back!

Have a great day! :)
Sounds interesting but I personally don't believe in esp. I am a new follower from Boost Your Buzz! So glad to find your blog! Please stop by http://aboutamom.com when you get a chance!
The paranormal is a large realm.Personally, I believe in some things, but not others. I think we all have the ability to tap into certain gifts, but it takes a willingness to first believe in the possibility that these gifts even exist.

Thanks for the nice review of Healey's Cave, Elana. Although I've never seen evidence of stuff like this, I sure wish I had a little green marble, too! I'd love to go back to my childhood and revisit some of those idyllic days...
